24 Gloucestershire businesses that made the #soglos10 party sparkle

SoGlos partied the night away at Pittville Pump Room to celebrate its 10-year anniversary, with support from a host of the Gloucestershire's finest businesses helping to make the event a resounding success.

Toasting 10 years since first starting out in 2007, SoGlos gathered together a whole host of supporters, influencers and businesses from across the county to celebrate its very special birthday.

Hosting over 200 guests at the glorious Pittville Pump Room, Gloucestershire businesses offered a great deal of support and added that all-important sparkle to the evening. Here’s who helped us make the night one to remember.

What better way to celebrate 10 years of business than at one of Cheltenham’s most iconic venues? Promising the perfect setting for hosting the milestone anniversary, The Cheltenham Trust’s Pittville Pump Room pulled out all the stops for a spectacular celebration.

Also managing The Wilson and Cheltenham Tourist Information Centre, Leisure at Cheltenham, Cheltenham Town Hall and the Prince of Wales Stadium, the Trust plays a vital part in shaping the impressive venues Cheltenham has to offer.

2. Toby Edward Event Stylist


Setting the evening for a sophisticated soirée, specialist venue stylist Toby Edward worked his magic on the glorious Pittville Pump Room, laboriously draping colourful fabrics and lanterns across the room and transforming the space so that it was fit for a party.

With a portfolio of impressive venue designs under his belt, Toby specialises in styling anything from intimate family parties, sparse studios to wonderful weddings; setting the scene for an elegant event.

3. Vince Freeman

Providing a glorious soundtrack to the celebrations, finalist of BBC’s The Voice, Vince Freeman teamed up with his band to perform a stunning set featuring fabulous vocals.

No stranger to the Gloucestershire music scene, Vince Freeman performs regularly across the county and at a variety of events and weddings.

Filling the #soglos10 goody bags with decadent delights, Ben Axford, the artisan chocolatier behind the heavenly Wicked & Wonderful, left a superbly sweet taste with a selection of the finest truffles.

A finalist of MasterChef, Ben prides himself on creating a sumptuous selection of chocolates complete with bold flavours, the finest ingredients and the most gorgeous packaging for an added luxurious touch.

5. The Flower Girls


Fusing together our fireworks theme, The Flower Girls provided some beautiful blooms to brighten up the room. With a selection of glorious autumnal leaves to scatter around the tables, guests were greeted by an enormous vase of fabulous flowers.

Specialising in creating stunning flowers for Cotswold weddings, founder Emma Matthews, has an eye for detail and a love of interiors which helps her to create bespoke arrangements for every client.

Bursting with foodie delights, Whole Foods Market Cheltenham came up trumps with a scrumptious selection of tasty treats to feature in the goody bags, including Luscombe organic drinks, Yushoi snacks, PhD Protein bars, as well as cosmetics from REN.

Championing local produce, Jelly Pickle Jam has a vintage tea room in Evesham and serves up a range of tasty treats, as well as running workshops where you can learn the art of preserve making and other arty crafts.

Ahead of their exciting opening, Cheltenham’s The Find treated guests to a coffee voucher in the SoGlos goody bags that can be enjoyed in their brand new coffee shop venture.

Opening its doors in November 2017, The Find is an innovative space serving up delicious coffee and beverages, as well as offering, The Workspace, a flexible ‘office’ where professionals can work and meet business partners.

Promising a fragrant treat for partygoers, 100 Acres Apothecary provided guests with a taster of their heavenly cosmetic range by kindly donating a mini soap for the goody bags.
