The founders

With more than a decade of experience working as journalists in some of the world's most exciting cities, Gloucestershire-born Michelle Byrne and James Fryer utilised their passion for their vibrant home county to launch SoGlos.com in 2007.

Their mission was simple: to represent Gloucestershire in its true glory – promoting the diverse range of arts, entertainment and leisure opportunities available in the county, whilst becoming an indispensable guide to both residents and visitors alike.


The future

From its bespoke Google-powered Gloucestershire Interactive Map launched in July 2008, to its innovative embeddable what’s on widgets launched in October 2009, the SoGlos.com team continually strives to provide its readers – and advertisers – with an arts, entertainment and leisure resource of national media standards.

Individual reader numbers are predicted to reach 100,000 per month in 2010, and the team is beavering away on even more exciting developments...
