Celebration of Craftsmanship and Design
Until 25 August – Some of the finest examples of contemporary furniture will be on display at Cheltenham College at the Celebration of Craftsmanship and Design 2008 exhibition.
For the 15th year in a row Cheltenham will play home to Britain’s biggest exhibition of contemporary designer-made furniture, as the Celebration of Craftsmanship and Design 2008 gets underway in August.
Held at Cheltenham College’s Thirlestaine Long Gallery, the exhibition will feature the work of 75 important furniture designers from around the world, who will be showing more than 300 eclectic pieces.
Most of the exhibits are for sale, with prices ranging from £250 to the more exclusive pieces topping the scale at around £50,000.
So if you have a passion for design or a space in your home crying out for a unique piece of furniture, come to Cheltenham College to take part in the week-long celebrations.
