Christmas at Berkeley Castle
9 December 2007 – With a festive concert and special castle by candlelight events planned, Christmas at Berkeley Castle is not to be missed.
Berkeley Castle’s festive Castle by Candlelight event is scheduled to take place on Friday 7 to Sunday 9 December from 5pm to 8.30pm each day, this Christmas season.
Visitors will get the chance to explore the historic castle by candlelight and flickering fireplaces, with the festive decorations all firmly in place for all to see.
For the young ones, Father Christmas will also be making a special appearance in his grotto downstairs, and there will be carols in the Great Hall, where visitors can also enjoy mulled wine and more mince pies by the fireplace.
