18 November – Find fireworks, a family funfair and Santa sailing in to his festive grotto in the city this weekend, as Christmas at the Gloucester Docks gets under way.

If you missed the fireworks at Gloucester Docks on Bonfire Night, now is your chance to see another spectacular display, this time with a more festive feel, to mark Santa’s arrival at the Docks this Christmas.

Arrive early to have a go on one of the plethora of fairground rides at the Docks from 2pm, before taking your waterside spot for the fireworks display which starts at 6.30pm – when Father Christmas will sail into the Docks followed by an eye-catching marine parade of illuminated boats.

With the stunning setting of Gloucester Docks providing a brilliant backdrop to the fireworks and festive parade, this Sunday evening event is sure to prove popular with families of all ages. So wrap-up warm and enjoy the start of Christmas 2007 in Gloucester.
