Santa and Carols at Highnam Court
1 to 2 December 2007 – Meet Santa and enjoy a spot of carol singing this Christmas in Gloucester, at the Highnam Court event in aid of Cobalt Breast Clinic and The Pied Piper Appeal.
Kicking off the month of December, the Santa and Carols event at Highnam Court not only promises to be a firm family favourite, but proceeds will be donated to the Cobalt Breat Clinic and The Pied Piper Appeal too.
On Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 December, visitors will be able to enjoy Christmas music on the terrace – including performances by local silver and brass bands, marching bands and local choirs.
There will also be a range of Christmas cards on sale at the various gift stalls, providing visitors with the chance to pick up a few stocking fillers.
Younger visitors will be more interested in the Punch and Judy show, magic man and balloon modelling amongst other activities – with the chance to meet Father Christmas himself from 4pm to 6pm promising to be a highlight, who will be giving out small gifts to all children who have been good in 2007.
The chance to explore Highnam Court’s 35 acres of Victorian landcaped gardens – illuminated to reveal their winter glory – is also set to prove popular during this weekend event in aid of two good causes.
