Star light, Star bright at the Guild Gallery
Until 3 January – The Gloucestershire Guild of Craftsmen is holding its sumptuous Star light, Star bright exhibition at the Guild Gallery in Painswick this month, offering a shining example of local designer crafts, all perfect for answering the festive season's present dilemmas.
Talented members of The Gloucestershire Guild of Craftsmen will be displaying their latest work at The Guild Gallery in Painswick throughout the festive season – with the Star light, Star bright exhibition, offering a prime opportunity to browse through a selection of quality crafts, not to mention a chance to pick-up any last minute presents for discerning family and friends.
On display will be locally-designed and crafted gold and silver designer jewellery, sumptuous textiles, iridescent glass, polished wood, shining ceramics and many more beautiful things from the local studios and workshops of the Guild’s members – with price tags stretching the whole spectrum of budgets.
Organisers say: ‘As ever the emphasis will be on fine, hand-crafted and original work, which is unobtainable on the usual high street, yet at affordable prices. Last year’s Christmas show was a huge success and this year promises to be a cracker too.’
