Art in A Cotswold Village exhibition
Until 7 July – A trio of artists will be converging on Lower Slaughter’s Village Hall for a week-long exhibition of new work this summer.
Art-loving visitors to Lower Slaughter are in for a treat this summer, when the Art in A Cotswold Village exhibition returns to The Village Hall from Wednesday 1 to Tuesday 7 July 2009.
Featuring work by Sue Law – who works with a variety of media to create modern depictions of landscapes and animals; Jaci Hogan – a painter of vibrant florals in arresting colours; and Alison Holt – an embroidery textile artist who creates beautiful landscapes using a sewing machine over silk.
As well as seeing all three artist’s eclectic work in spectacular detail, visitors will also be have the opportunity to meet and speak with the artists themselves, as well as having the chance to purchase original artwork, prints and cards.
