Sir David Frost Speakers in Gloucester
Sir David Frost will be the December guest in Gloucester Guildhall’s eclectic Speakers line-up, in an anticipated event for the city centre venue.
Sir David Frost will be the next high profile speaker to grace the stage at Gloucester Guildhall, talking to a packed audience at the city centre venue this Monday 6 December 2010 – in an event sponsored by SoGlos.com.
The special guest will be entertaining the audience with humorous stories from behind the scenes of his television career – from the celebrated 1960’s satirical show That Was The Week That Was to the present day, giving fans an insight into the television legend’s career.
One of the BBC’s most respected interviewers, and the only person to have interviewed the last seven Presidents of the United States and the last six UK Prime Ministers, Frost’s career has spanned a multitude of subjects.
Host, producer of countless television programmes, author of 15 books, producer of eight films, lecturer, impresario and the joint founder of London Weekend Television and TV-am, it’s unlikely that Frost will have trouble filling the evening in Gloucester with fascinating anecdotes.
Especially when considering the fact that he is perhaps one of the best known television interviewers in the world – with his Nixon Interviews achieving ‘the largest audience for a news interview in history,’ according to the New York Times.
