Sudeley Castle and Gardens in Winchcombe is one of Gloucestershire’s most popular visitor attractions.

Steeped in history, families can retrace the steps of the Tudors at the historic castle, which is also the final resting place of Katherine Parr – the last of King Henry VIII’s six wives.

As well as exploring the rooms and exhibitions within Sudeley Castle itself, visitors can stroll around the 10 picturesque gardens, let little ones run wild at the brilliant adventure playground, meet the resident pheasants and stop off for locally-sourced treats at the Castle Pantry.

With regular sculpture exhibitions in its glorious grounds, too, it’s a spectacular family day out in the Cotswolds countryside.

Tickets for Sudeley Castle and Gardens must be pre-booked online at sudeleycastle.co.uk and cost £19.50 for adults, £8.75 for children or £48 for a family of four, with children under three-years-old able to attend for free.
