I think that Tewkesbury Abbey - architecture, setting, history - is wonderful, my favourite 'church' in the whole world after Gloucester Cathedral and Ulm Muenster (in Baden-Wuerttemberg, Germany). But once, when I wanted to attend evensong there, the vicar or whoever responsible for the service did not show up. But I'll try again!
