My family and I feel that we are so lucky to have the glorious Forest of Dean on our doorstep. Beechenhurst lodge seems to be our most popular destination and the Sculpture trail is a very original idea. It would be nice to see the theme extended to other sites within the forest. 29 April 2008

The Sculpture Trail has become the Forest's biggest tourist attraction, but it's a shame that more locals don't visit it. Whatever the weather, walking in the woods is a joy and stopping to look at the art along the trail is a good excuse for a breather - or sit down in my case! 21 August 2007
