Renegade Cirque du Macabre at Cafe Rene

Promising one of Gloucestershire’s biggest and best Halloween highlights, Café Rene will be hosting the Renegade Cirque du Macabre circus of horrors and delights.

Café Rene is promising to top its Halloween antics once again and provide an unmissable spooky night out again this year, by holding a theatrical Renegade Cirque du Macabre on Saturday 29 October 2011.

Following on from the runaway success of its Zombie Walk and expertly choreographed recreation of Michael Jackson’s famous Thriller music video in previous years, Café Rene’s reputation for pulling out all the spooky stops is unrivalled in Gloucestershire.

But, promising a vaudeville-style, burlesque, freak show crossed with an eye-popping spectacle, organisers say the Renegade Cirque du Macabre is sure to be its most popular Halloween event yet.

While the cabaret acts are still to be announced, the line-up of revellery Café Rene’s crowds can indulge in already includes the chance to ‘be prescribed medicinal potions by the nurses at The Farmacy.’

There’s also the opportunity to feast on something ‘freshly chopped by the Family Butcher or take an excruciating visit to the Back Street Dentist.’ Plus, MC Fashion will be performing alongside a line-up of guest DJs.

And while there’s free entry before 11pm, there will be a charity collection for the Cobalt Unit during the evening, so crowds are asked to ‘bring your rusty sheckles’!

Dressing up is all part of the fun, with a dress code described as the ‘wrongest of cabaret styles’, and the entertainment spanning into the twilight hours in Café Rene’s Cellar Bar for the Cafienda’s Halloween Special.
