2 June – Acclaimed author Nigel McCrery will be introducing a new British detective, and discussing his latest book Still Waters, at Calcot Manor’s Meet-the-Author lunch in the Cotswolds, this June.

The creator of Silent Witness, author Nigel McCrery, will be Calcot Manor’s literary guest at the monthly Meet-the-Author lunch on Monday 2 June 2008.

Discussing Still Waters, the latest in a long line of hit novels, fans of the crime genre and of the author himself are expected to turn out in force to hear about his brand new sleuth – Detective Chief Inspector Mark Lapslie.

Nigel McCrery, who was himself a policeman, will be answering questions from the floor and signing copies of his new book, Still Waters, at the event.

Calcot Manor’s Meet-the-Author lunches start at 12pm, with tickets priced at £25 per person including a two course meal and a glass of wine.
