PBFA book fair in Cirencester
The PBFA book fair in Cirencester is promising avid readers across Gloucestershire an event not to be missed this May 2011.
Joining the popular book fair held twice a year in Cheltenham, the Cirencester PBFA book fair, being held at Corn Hall on Sunday 15 May 2011, is an event Gloucestershire book collectors and keen readers won’t want to miss.
Promising that a wide range of general antiquarian, out-of-print, collectible, first edition and second-hand books will be up for grabs, as well as maps and prints, whether you are bargain-hunting or seeking out a rare addition for your specialist collection, you’ll be spoilt for choice.
Specialist exhibitors are set to span everything from modern first editions, art and architecture, performing arts, Irish books, Sherlock Holmes, James Bond and military history to comics, annuals, children’s books and football programmes.
The Provincial Booksellers Fairs Association was set up in 1974 to provide independent book dealers from around the country with a marketplace by organising regular fairs. More than 35 years later the group is growing from strength-to-strength, with a membership of more than 600 booksellers attending 100 book fairs up and down the country each year.
