Go walking in a winter wonderland at Westonbirt Arboretum’s Enchanted Christmas, promising a festive family feast of lights, trails, treats and more.

Favourite destination Westonbirt Arboretum will be once again welcoming Gloucestershire families to celebrate an Enchanted Christmas at its signature winter event, taking place every Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening from Friday 27 November to Sunday 20 December 2015.

All ages can take in the majestic beauty of the towering trees lit by thousands of festive lights that line the famous one-mile illuminated trail through the National Arboretum, with a route taking in different specimens, paths and vistas in the tree collection.

Visitors big and small will find Father Christmas ho, ho, ho-ing and dressed in his traditional green costume too, with a gift for each child. The festive elves and Mrs Christmas will be joining in the festivities too, with storytelling in the restaurant.

There’s also expected to be family craft activities scheduled, Christmas gifts on sale and delicious outdoor refreshments available, with Christmas themed entertainment, festive goodies, classic carols, enchanting stilt walkers, and a traditional children’s carousel too.

For a festive family outing that guarantees to kick-start your Christmas cheer, this is your chance to celebrate at one of the seven wonders of the Cotswolds, boasting one of the most spectacular arboretums in the world.
