Summer holiday boredom will fade into distant memory as the vibrant Montpellier Midsummer Fiesta takes over Cheltenham on Saturday 2 July 2016.
The town’s biggest free event offers a huge range of activities, including vintage fairground rides, free running, an army climbing wall, crazy golf and bouncy castles.
A bustling market with up to 100 stalls and a classic car show will keep adults entertained, while performances on the main stage and bandstand offer the opportunity for families to relax and soak up the sun.
Live music and dance is sure to be the highlight of the programme, with swinging jazz from The Indigo Kings, eclectic reggae from headliners Subduction, and bandstand performances encompassing belly dancing, Zumba, salsa and more.
Those in need of sustenance during the jam-packed day will be able to enjoy cuisines from all over the world from seven food outlets, and a range of alcoholic or soft refreshments will be available throughout the event.
The fiesta is a favourite among locals, capturing the community spirit and offering the chance to support Cheltenham’s talented performers – don’t miss this opportunity to make the most of the elusive summer weather.
