On Sunday 17 June 2012 farms across the country will be welcoming members of the public for the national Open Farms Sunday, and the local Overbury Farms is putting out all the stops to celebrate the annual LEAF (Linking Environment And Farming) event.
Jake freestone, the farm’s manager, and Penelope Bossom, Overbury Farms owner, will be conducting trailer tours throughout the day, giving visitors the chance to gain a rich insight into the management of the farm as they travel around the beautiful Bredon Hill.
Tractor and trailer rides will depart at 9am, 10.30am, 12pm, 2pm and 3.30pm from Overbury Village Hall – with each ride taking around an hour and a half and taking in various aspects of the farms and estate.
