The devoted dog owners of Gloucestershire are invited to attend local charity Cheltenham Animal Shelter’s annual open day and novelty dog show on Saturday 7 July 2012, which organisers are promising will be bigger and better than ever before.
Set to be opened by the shelter’s new patron and local writer, Pam Ayres, the novelty dog show is aiming to provide not only the perfect opportunity to parade your prized pet, but also to win some fantastic prizes in the dog agility and scurry events taking place throughout the day.
After working up an appetite on the catwalk, visitors and their four-legged friends can look forward to tucking into a sizzling barbecue or cooling down with an ice-cream.
And the fun doesn’t stop there, especially for the little ones. A bouncy castle, face painting and games suitable for all ages will all be on offer, hoping to keep them in high spirits all afternoon.
What’s more, there will be a wide array of stalls selling bric-a-brac, jewellery, cakes, gifts and cards – so be sure to take some cash, as you never know what bargains you might come across on your summer day out.
