Move over Neil Buchanan, as local attraction Westonbirt Arboretum will be hosting its very own Art Attack! from Tuesday 14 to Thursday 16 August 2012, promising a unique and entertaining day out for all.
Running from 10.30am each day, local artists and keen craftsmen alike will have the chance to not only explore the artistic origins of The National Arboretum, but also discover how it uses trees instead of paint, and take home a few hints and tips to boot.
Plus, visitors will also be able to have a go at building their own stick frames and designing a picturesque tree garden, perhaps taking inspiration from the stunning surroundings of Westonbirt itself.
And if that’s not enough, kids go free and there will also be the opportunity to try your hand at natural art – with some attempts set to be added to the Arboretum’s very own photo gallery.
For more information about the full school holiday line-up, see Summer holidays at Westonbirt Arboretum.
