As part of this year’s eagerly-anticipated Treefest event, being held at Westonbirt Arboretum, organisers are hoping to tempt budding botanists around the county with a Plant Hunters’ academy, set to run from Wednesday 22 to Monday 27 August 2012.
Ideal for green-fingered families with little ones who love to explore, Westonbirt has lined up an array of activities throughout each day, starting from 10.30am – including different crafts and explorer challenges.
Organisers are promising to take families on a trip around the world as intrepid plant hunters, and said: ‘Discover death defying stories, solve our mystery tree quiz and find out why we continue to go on plant hunts today.’
