Local ceramic artist Peter Garrard will lead a series of six weekly summer workshops, teaching kids new techniques using air hardening clay.
Children have the chance to make and decorate their very own animals, name plates or even monsters, and can take them home afterwards to display pride of place.
Taking place at Abbeydale Community Centre, the classes run from 10am to 12pm for ages six to nine; and 1pm to 3pm for children aged 10 and over.
Trained in Manchester, Peter has an exhibition of garden sculptures at The Rococo Gardens in Painswick in August and his birdhouses are for sale at New Brewery Arts in Cirencester.
