Children across the county with dreams of following in the footsteps of J. K. Rowling can experience the thrill of becoming an author this summer, when the Build a Book summer holiday workshops launches at Cheltenham’s Lakeside Primary School.
Running from Monday 30 July to Thursday 30 August 2012, the three-day workshops will keep your little bookworms busy for three hours per day as they reconnect with their imaginations and lose themselves in the fun, educational and inspirational programme.
The professional CRB-checked team who run the creative workshops will guide the children to develop a story to write about, before giving them the tools to transform their story into a book, using their own illustrations and words.
Once completed, the books will then be published to the highest quality, and friends and family will have the chance to buy as many copies of the book as they wish.
Whether you want to occupy your little bookworms for a few days this summer, or are just looking to inspire a little more creativity in them, don’t miss the chance to do all this and more with the Build a Book summer holiday workshops.
