Allsorts charity launches Christmas Appeal

SoGlos’s charity of the year, Allsorts, is ending the year with a bang after announcing its feel-good festive Christmas Appeal, a new initiative which aims to raise £5,000.

Specialists in providing inclusive support, activities, and toys for families of children with additional needs, Gloucestershire charity Allsorts has announced its new Christmas Appeal, which aims to raise £5,000 and grant the wishes of local children.

The Stroud-based charity hopes to raise funds to grant the wishes of the children it supports, by asking members of the public to kindly donate anything they can.

The appeal follows on from three hugely-successful schemes where Allsorts helped to improve the mental and physical wellbeing of three children, by providing specialist sports activities including trampolining, tailored equipment, and an impressive toy library.

Speaking about the Christmas Appeal, local MP David Drew said: ‘I am hugely excited that this wonderful charity is continuing to grow, bringing joy to children with disabilities and support to their families in Stroud and beyond.

‘Their aim to raise £5,000 through ‘Allsorts of Christmas Wishes’ is a tough one, but I hope they will receive the full backing of our community.’
