Rumplestiltskin pantomime in Gloucester

17 to 20 December – It’s pantomime time in Gloucester as Rumplestiltskin stomps onto the Kings Theatre's stage for four evenings of family entertainment this Christmas.

The Crown Players' Knights of the Square Table are getting into character for Rumplestiltskin this Christmas.

Christmas just wouldn’t be Christmas without the obligatory panto, and The Crown Players will be pulling out all the stops to entertain the crowds when Rumplestiltskin takes to the Kings Theatre’s stage, for four nights of family fun this Christmas.

Why has the Treasury of Hamalot got very little treasure left? Will Laughalot the court Jester ever make anyone laugh? Why is Phillippa Bucket going to end up on the streets and will her daughter Marigold be able to turn flax into gold or be losing her head instead? These are just some of the questions that the crowds can hope to find out. Not to mention, discovering what the funny little goblin who lives in the Forest of Despair is called at the traditional family pantomime written and directed by Joy Davis.

With colourful characters also including the Knights of the Square Table, Cash and Carry, and Chancellor Scrimp, not forgetting the eponymous Rumplestiltskin, organisers promise audiences will be dazzled by some truly magical moments, sensational songs and dances, and plenty of laughter at the special amateur production this Christmas. Oh yes you will.
