For a fairytale festive period, take the children to see The Ugly Duckling.

Young children from across Gloucestershire will get to see Hans Christian Anderson’s heart-warming fairytale brought to life on The Everyman Theatre’s stage this Christmas, when The Ugly Duckling is performed.

The timeless story of a big brown duckling, who is told he is too ugly and different to stay at the farmyard, will be put on the stage by the Stroud-based Red Dog Theatre company throughout the festive period.

Aimed at younger audiences, The Ugly Duckling will give parents a prime opportunity to kick-start their kids’ enjoyment of the theatre, and grown-ups should love it too.
