Christmas Day feeding at the farm
25 December - If you're looking for a fun way to get some fresh air with the family this Christmas Day, Robinswood Hill Rare Breeds Farm in Gloucester will be welcoming visitors to feed the animals their festive breakfast.
When all the presents are unwrapped and the turkey is slowly roasting in the oven, give the kids a bit of fresh air on Christmas Day with a trip to Robinswood Hill Rare Breeds Farm, where families can take part in feeding the animals.
Robinswood Hill Farm and Country Park will be open between 8.30am and 3.30pm and children are invited to help the farmer feed the animals Christmas day breakfast at 10am.
Animals from St James City Farm in Gloucester will also be joining the animals of the Rare Breeds Centre, and children will be able to feed cattle, sheep, pigs and goats their hearty breakfast – which visitors are asked to bring themselves, including carrots and vegetable peelings from that day’s Christmas lunch.
