Feed Bambi at Prinknash Bird Park
Until 31 July – Families from across Gloucestershire will get the rare chance to bottle feed Bambi this summer, at Prinknash Bird and Deer Park near Painswick.
While Prinknash Bird & Deer Park’s nine-acres of parkland plays home to both wild and tame fallow deer all-year-round, this July visitors to the family-favourite attraction will be in for a real treat – when given the opportunity to bottle feed the new baby deer.
And if the opportunity to get up close and personal with the new additions to the family wasn’t cute enough, Prinknash is also expecting twin fawns to be born – giving little ones from across the county double the fun.
Taking advantage of this rare opportunity is, unsurprisingly, likely to be extremely popular – and so booking ahead is an absolute must. The good news is Prinknash is running a special family ticket, valid for two adults and two children, for £25 – including entry to the park and feeding Bambi by bottle.
Once you do manage to tear yourselves away from the fawns, there’s a children’s castle, Tudor-style Wendy House and lakes, pheasants, peacocks, waterfowl, pygmy goats and a whole host of other natural wonders to enjoy at the park – all making for an unmissable Gloucestershire day out this summer.
