Midsummer Fiesta in Montpellier
Montpellier Gardens in Cheltenham will be hosting Midsummer Fiesta in Montpellier once again, for a free and fun packed day of family activities, rugby, classic cars, funfair, live music and more.
Free family activities and an evening of live music will be the highlight of the fourth annual Midsummer Fiesta in Montpellier event, being hosted at Montpellier Gardens in Cheltenham on Saturday 9 July 2011.
From 12pm onwards all ages will be able to get involved in entertainment which includes the return of the O2 inflatable rugby village complete with guest appearances by Gloucester Rugby players.
There’s also a children’s village with dedicated activities set aside for the youngsters including circus skills, face painting, petting pony and bouncy castles, all the fun of Danter’s fair, more than 90 market stalls overflowing with food and gifts as well as dance and poetry performances.
Live musical entertainment on three stages is set to span the spectrum from choirs and local bands to one of Australia’s finest didgeridoo players, salsa, jazz, ukulele and belly dancing. Plus, there’s a chance to try out Gamelan instruments, bellringing, didgeridoo and zumba.
So, pack a picnic and enjoy the free summer’s day out – there’s sure to be something to suit every member of the family.
