Free family activities and an evening of live music will be the highlight of the third annual Midsummer Fiesta in Montpellier event, being hosted at Montpellier Gardens in Cheltenham on Saturday 10 July 2010.

From 12pm onwards all ages will be able to get involved in entertainment which includes the return of the O2 inflatable rugby village complete with guest appearances by Gloucester Rugby players such as Mike Tindall, James Simpson-Daniel, Nicky Robinson, Freddie Burns, Olivier Azam and Charlie Sharples.

There’s also a children’s village with dedicated activities set aside for the youngsters, all the fun of Danter’s fair, market stalls overflowing with food and gifts as well as dance displays and Everyman Theatre performances.

There is also the chance for children to win a skateboard designed by local artist Alex Maw at Cheltenham Art Gallery & Museum’s creative stand.

Live musical entertainment on two stages is set to span the spectrum from choirs and local bands to Gamelan and Samba, with the Tibetan Monks of Tashi Lhunpo Monastery also taking to the band stand, so pack a picnic and enjoy the summer’s day out.
