Christmas Winter Wonderland at Model Village

Forest of Dean Model Village will be transformed into a Christmas Winter Wonder Wonderland, welcoming visitors from far and wide to the Gloucestershire family attraction.

Enjoy Christmas in the Forest of Dean at the Model Village.

The Forest of Dean Model Village is set to be transformed into a Christmas Winter Wonderland this year, with plenty to see and do from Thursday 26 November to Thursday 24 December 2009.

Visitors will get chance to see the population of six-inch high ‘Forest Folk’ celebrating the festive season in true style, complete with a blanket of beautiful snow which has fallen on the village, with many of the buildings illuminated in a dazzling array of colour.

There will also be mulled wine, roast chestnuts and mince pies, while a number of candlelight carol singing performances are also scheduled.

Keep your eyes peeled for the miniature Christmas Nativity and the Christmas grotto, and don’t miss what is sure to be one of the Forest of Dean’s favourite festive events.
