Beach in the Park

Who says you have to go abroad, or even to the coast, for sandcastles and seaside pursuits – not when Beach in the Park returns to Gloucester Park for a week-long second summer outing.

From Friday 23 to Friday 30 July 2010 all ages will be able to don their best summer outfits and head for the urban beach, 35 miles away from the sea!

Promising sandcastle competitions, the chance for kids to play in the sand, and the oldies to lounge in deckchairs, Beach in the Park promises to be a highlight of Summer in Gloucester, with hopefully a bit of sunshine thrown in for good measure.
