Crafts and archery are some of the added treats on offer at Berkeley Castle this summer holidays.

Berkeley Castle, near Stroud, is a captivating day out destination for a range of age groups thanks to its fascinating history, stunning architecture and glorious gardens.

But during the summer holidays, children will be given an extra treat, with an array of special activities scheduled on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays throughout August.

There’s the chance to join in with jester skills on Tuesdays, archery workshops on Wednesdays, and create castle arts and crafts on Thursdays – all included in the normal admission.

Plus, kids will particularly enjoy getting up close to the exotic species and the world’s largest moth that call the Butterfly House home, not to mention be given the opportunity to see where The Legend of Dick and Dom was filmed.
