Summer holidays at Nature in Art
From sculpting lions to making a magic trick, Nature in Art in Gloucester will be one place that creative children will be heading this summer school holidays.
Nature in Art, the world’s only museum dedicated to art inspired by nature, will be providing creative families from across Gloucester and beyond with plenty of hands-on reasons to visit during the summer holidays.
As well as having the chance to explore the array of artwork on display in the galleries and garden, a myriad of messy arts and crafts workshops will be getting kids’ creative juices flowing throughout August.
Sculpting a lion from paper, making modroc animals, drawing with wire, and creating sun catcher photo frames will all be on offer to all ages. With creating decoupage clocks, printing bags, and using chiyogami paper to fold into origami models sure to prove popular highlights.
Plus, children shouldn’t miss the chance to paint dinosaur coin banks, make magic tricks to impress their friends, or design aboriginal art either.
Costing from £5 per child, and giving an accompanying adult free entry into the gallery and museum too, boys and girls will be brimming with excitement to take part in Nature in Art’s popular workshops.
While most workshops are suitable for all ages, children aged 8 and under should be accompanied by an adult.
