Halloween at Primrose Vale
As well as having a bumper crop of pumpkins to pick from and carve, Primrose Vale is hosting a Halloween Hunt for Gloucestershire families throughout the October half term.
Families from across Gloucestershire will be flocking to Primrose Vale for the farm’s annual Halloween Hunt, taking place throughout the school half term.
From Saturday 22 to Monday 31 October 2011, children of primary school age can take on the challenge of the spooky hunt, with mysteries to complete around the popular farm.
Described as great fun for all the family, and an excellent way of getting the kids out in the fresh air, hunt participants each pay £3, which includes a prize.
There are also thousands of fresh and tasty pumpkins to pick from at Primrose Vale – from the mini right through to the giant sumo – with a chance for families to also take their places in the all-weather polytunnel to do their carving, if they bring their own tools.
Plus, organisers say there will also be a host of pumpkin related fun and games on offer at the farm situated between Gloucester and Cheltenham, if the weather gets too autumnal!
