In what is truly one of SoGlos.com’s favourite events of the festive season, Slimbridge Wetland Centre will be giving families the chance to enjoy some real Christmas Quackers at the popular attraction this December.

Over the weekends of Saturday 3 and Sunday 4, as well as on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 December 2011, the venue’s restaurant will be playing host to special breakfast where guests can help themselves to full English fare – and see Father Christmas going about his business.

The centre’s elves will then join guests in giving the birds a festive feed, with a free bag of grain included in the price, while later in the afternoon families will get the chance to visit Father Christmas’s very own magical grotto. There will be the chance for little ones to reveal their wish list, as long as they’ve been good boys and girls, and receive a small gift – costing £4 per child.

On the weekend of Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 December 2011, what’s more, there will also be a huge range of stalls in the visitor centre – giving everyone the chance to find an unusual gift for friends and family. While in the discovery centre families can enjoy a whole range Christmas-themed arts and crafts activities to make and take home.

For two weekends only, go Christmas Quackers at the stunning Slimbridge Wetland Centre.
