Santa Cruises from Gloucester Waterways Museum
Meet Santa as you cruise along the Gloucester Sharpness Canal on the King Arthur, setting sail from Gloucester Waterways Museum.
For more than a decade families from across Gloucestershire have been climbing aboard one of the Santa Cruises organised by the Gloucester Waterways Museum, and 2011 is set to be one of the busiest years yet – with a staggering 40 cruises getting underway.
Departing at 12pm, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11, as well as every day from Saturday 17 to Saturday 24 December 2011, the one-hour cruises onboard the King Arthur will give children the chance to meet Santa in a magical setting in his special onboard grotto.
Plus, the ticket price includes entry to the Gloucester Waterways Museum, hot mince pies, a children’s workshop and a personalised gift.
If previous years are anything to go by, the Santa Cruises are set to be a real festive highlight for Gloucester, and budding visitors should book tickets as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
Don’t forget your camera to capture a special seasonal memory with friends and family.
