Highlights include dressing up as a Roman or Celt, exploring a Roman kitchen and medieval street, as well as listening to the sounds of Gloucester gone by, and having a go on a Roman building site. Children can make discoveries in the investigation lab or get creative in the crafty corner, play with toys from the past and get up close to some surprising dinosaurs, with ice age beasts and golden treasures too. A range of exhibitions, hands-on activities and events are also held at Gloucester City Museum throughout the year, with affordable admission prices offering all ages great value and a fresh perspective on Gloucester’s rich heritage.
