Win Toploader gig tickets

Ends 9 September – Win tickets to sing along to Toploader, when the reunited band arrives at Gloucester Guildhall with its classic hits and possibly a few new ones too.

The newly reformed Toploader will be taking in Gloucester Guildhall as part of its UK tour this autumn, and nostalgic SoGlos.com readers can win one of six pairs of tickets to see the Eastbourne band perform live.

Formed in 1997, Toploader swiftly rose from the ranks of the unknown to become one of Britain’s biggest selling bands, selling more than 1.7 million copies of their debut Onka's Big Moka, and reaching number 3 in the UK chart with follow up Magic Hotel.

Organisers say: ‘After a five year sabbatical, the band are now ready to take their own mix of heady, feel-good rock back where it belongs, on the road.’

On Thursday 16 September 2010 it will be the turn of Guildhall gig-goers to jig along to ‘Dancing in the Moonlight’, and other back catalogue hits such as ‘Achilles Heel’, when the band take to the stage. Fans might even get the opportunity to hear some of Toploader’s much discussed new material too.
