While the Star Wars Trilogy are three of the most watched films in the history of the universe, you can be sure that Canadian actor Charles Ross has watched Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi more times than you or I could ever imagine.
For it’s these three classic films – remembered in word-perfect detail – that form the basis of the astounding, world-acclaimed One Man Star Wars Trilogy show taking to the stage at Cheltenham Town Hall this week.
Single-handedly playing all of the characters, singing the music, flying the spaceships, fighting the battles and condensing the plots into just 60 breathtaking on-stage minutes, Ross has brought audiences to their feet in theatres, festivals and events in every corner of the globe.
The One Man Star Wars Show was the highlight of last year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival, has been seen on the USA’s big talk shows and LucasFilms loved the show so much that they hired Ross to promote Star Wars: Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith.
His upcoming Cheltenham Town Hall performance forms part of six-week UK tour and promises to be a fast-paced, side-splitting evening that really is out of this world.
