Design Room Makeover workshop in Gloucester

Get a better understanding of design principles at the Gloucester workshop.

Gloucestershire locals with dreams of becoming interior decorators are in for a real treat when Monica Lenore Designs launches a Design Room Makeover course, from Tuesday 4 to Wednesday 26 September 2012 – dubbed the first of its kind in the county.

The four-part workshop promises not only to provide professional design techniques and advice for budding Linda Barkers of Gloucestershire to makeover an existing room in their homes, but also hands-on practical experience with fabrics, wallpapers and floor samples, and access to insider trade resources to create mood boards, too.

Ideal for beginners, the workshops, which will be led by a professional instructor, will run through everything from designing room layouts and choosing the right furniture, to arranging wall hangings, mixing and matching patterns and colour, and decorating on a budget.

Plus, the team at Monica Lenore Designs will also provide a bounty of samples, books, and catalogues as inspiration for participants to create their dream rooms.
