A one-day workshop dedicated to improving the room where we spend a third of our lives will be taught at Pittville Pump Room, by expert Karen Kingston.

Cheltenham will be the latest in a line-up of far flung destinations playing host to international best-selling author Karen Kingston’s Change Your Bedroom, Change Your Life workshop.

Karen has taught the popular one-day workshop in San Francisco, London and Bali, and will be sharing her secrets with an audience at Pittville Pump Room for the first time on Sunday 20 May 2012.

‘Good feng shui in the bedroom is essential to our health and vitality,’ she said, with modern-day multi-functional bedrooms described as a place of rest, romance and recovery, as well as doubling as a TV lounge, storage depot, meditation space, computer station and so on…

As we spend a third of our lives in bed, creating the right balance is something of an art, which Karen’s experience as a feng shui, space clearing and clutter clearing consultant will help with.

Featuring a wealth of practical information and invaluable advice to help participants create a positive bedroom environment for themselves, topics covered include: understanding the spiritual purpose and function of sleep; feng shui essentials for placement of beds and furniture; choosing bedroom furniture and décor; safeguarding against geopathic and electromagnetic stress during sleep; as well as feng shui tips to improve your love life.

As one previous participant commented: ‘This workshop was packed with information and brought up hundreds of things about bedrooms I had never even considered before. I did not realise until today how bad a space I have been sleeping in.’
