Described as ‘the ultimate English afternoon tea’, spend an afternoon with Sudeley Castle’s owner Lady Ashcombe and her special guests during the intimate At Home with Lady Ashcombe series.
Held in the atmospheric surroundings of the family’s private library, guests can hear directly from Lady Ashcombe, who will be talking about her fascinating life at the castle.
She will also be joined by a special guest, who will each be imparting their individual expert insights into an interesting subject.
On Monday 23 April 2012 the writer and broadcaster Annette Kobak will be joining Lady Ashcombe, to talk about the art of bringing people to life through biographies.
On Monday 14 May 2012 Local chef Rob Rees will be discussing Tudor cuisine and eating habits, in this very apt historical setting.
On Monday 14 July 2012 Lady Ashcombe’s son, Henry Dent-Brocklehurst, will be sharing his personal experience about growing up in a fascinating place like Sudeley.
While on Tuesday 4 September 2012 the historian and writer Alison Sim will be talking about the Tudor period.
If a leisurely afternoon sipping tea and hobnobbing with high society at Sudeley Castle appeals, snap up tickets for this quintessential treat.
Plus, don’t miss Sudeley’s full line-up of events being held as part of the Katherine Parr Quincentenary Festival by visiting sudeleycastle.co.uk directly.
