Complete with heritage boat processions, live music, great food and the annual Beer, Cider and Perry Festival, the Herefordshire & Gloucestershire Canal Festival 2017 is set to be a weekend of summertime fun.

A firm SoGlos favourite on the Gloucestershire events calendar, the Herefordshire & Gloucestershire Canal Festival will be back for two days of waterside culture and fun – taking place at Over Basin in Gloucester from Saturday 19 to Sunday 20 August 2017.

The flotilla of heritage boats sailing from Over Basin into Vineyard Hill promises to once again be an anticipated highlight, while the weekend is also expected to feature live music, local stalls, good food and much more to keep the whole family entertained.

Previous years have included highlights such as zorbing, morris dancing, rock wall climbing, donkey rides and more, while the Beer, Cider and Perry Festival is certain to keep visitors in high spirits.

Running alongside the anticipated Herefordshire & Gloucestershire Canal Festival, the restored Over Basin in Gloucester will also be the setting for a Beer, Cider and Perry Festival.

Offering delicious local and artisan drinks; a barbecue, pork rolls, and cream teas; and live music, the weekend event promises a whole host of fun for real ale fans and foodies alike.
