The works of world-renowned artists such as Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, David Hockney, and Richard Hamilton are coming to Cheltenham this spring, in an exhibition organised by London’s V&A.
The eagerly anticipated Pop Art in Print exhibition will take up residence at The Wilson from Saturday 25 March to Sunday 4 June 2017, bringing together more than 70 works from the 1960s to 2000s.
Showcasing pieces from over 30 world-famous artists, the impressive list of names includes Andy Warhol, Allen Jones, Robert Indiana, Roy Lichtenstein, Patrick Caulfield, Richard Hamilton, Peter Blake, Gavin Turk and Julian Opie.
Promising an innovative and immersive display in Cheltenham, Pop Art in Print is a coup for The Wilson, organised by the world’s leading museum of art and design, and is sure to draw in crowds of eager art fans from across Gloucestershire and beyond.
