Cheltenham's Subtone nightclub to close

A Cheltenham institution for 20 years, Subtone will close after one final event on New Year's Eve, moving into its basement space, Bongo Bar.

Cheltenham’s leading late-night club, Subtone, is set to close after a special New Year’s Eve event on Saturday 31 December 2016, moving into its Bongo Bar.

One of the town’s finest nightclubs with five bars, each sporting a unique vibe, Subtone has remained a firm favourite among revellers for 20 years since opening in 1996, famous for its piano bar and extended opening hours.

While party-goers will be saying goodbye to the Subtone they know, the club will be continuing to deliver live music and DJ events in the Bongo Bar throughout 2017.
