The Old Bell in Gloucester is a city centre institution, since it reopened in December 2008. Offering an unrivalled selection of quality cocktails and artisanal spirits, it’s the perfect spot for a quiet drink with friends, or celebrating a special occasion.

Spread over two floors and steeped in history, the 17th-century pub is the former townhouse of alderman, Thomas Yate, complete with dark oak panelling and a magnificent Jacobean stone fireplace, and now home to an array of intimate bar rooms and lounges, as well as innovative fusion restaurant, Tiger's Eye.

Using only the finest ingredients and methods, such as hand-squeezing fruits and cutting twice-frozen mineral water ice with an ice pick, The Old Bell serves up some of the finest cocktails in Gloucester, alongside a selection of great value wines, Champagnes, whiskies, Armagnacs and rare digestifs sourced from around the globe.

With a second bar available for hire along with a spacious function room, The Old Bell can cater for a variety of events and is a welcoming venue for hosting private parties both big and small.

There are also reasonably priced pool tables in the top room, which adds an element of fun to any evening.
