Sing-a-long Sound of Music
30 March – Sing your heart out to Rodgers and Hammerstein's musical Sound of Music at Cheltenham’s Everyman Theatre, for one evening this March.
The hills in Gloucestershire will be alive with the sound of warbling in March when Sing-a-long Sound of Music hits the Everyman Theatre in Cheltenham – testing the vocal chords of musical fans from across the county.
For first time ‘sing-a-longers’ expect to find the Everyman filled with Sound of Music fans dressed in a myriad of creative costumes and while fancy dress isn’t compulsory it certainly helps get the crowd in the spirit. Plus, there’s a costume competition with all those kitted-out invited onto the stage to show-off their originality.
Then sit back and watch the smash-hit Julie Andrews musical in full-screen Technicolor, complete with subtitles so that even if you don’t know the words, you can still sing – or yodel – along.
You don’t need to be a classically trained singer or even a karaoke regular to take part and you won’t forget the fun-filled evening in a hurry.
