The chance to see the penultimate Harry Potter film at Gloucester Cathedral is certain to prove popular.

Muggles of all ages will be making their way to Gloucester Cathedral on Thursday 29 October 2009 for the chance to see a special screening of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince in hauntingly atmospheric surrounds.

Organisers say key scenes from the penultimate Harry Potter blockbuster were filmed at the magnificent Cathedral, giving fans of the series a unique opportunity to be immersed in the scenery as the JK Rowling story unfolds.

Being screened in the Cathedral’s nave on a 20ft by 9ft screen, 350 tickets will be available for this one-off event.

There will also be the chance to buy one of 100 guided tour tickets from the shop, for the chance to take a behind-the-scenes walk around the filming locations at the Cathedral before the big screening, with tickets for this costing just £2.

So whether you send owls, or reserve your tickets on the magical world wide web, don’t hang about booking tickets directly from ticketweb.co.uk.

Please note, this event has now sold out.
