Open air Mamma Mia film screening
Sing along to the feel-good flick Mamma Mia at a special open-air Cinema Under The Stars screening in Gloucester, this summer.
Pack a picnic, prepare your vocal chords and head to Llanthony Priory in Gloucester this summer, when up to 1,000 Mamma Mia fans will be crooning along to the feel-good film – with fancy dress highly recommended.
Being shown at a giant open-air cinema for one night only on Friday 6 August 2010, the event forms a fun part of the Summer in Gloucester festivities planned for the city.
The historic priory near Gloucester Docks will not only play host to a huge screen and full surround sound, but there is also set to be a cocktail bar and music played by Heart Gloucestershire DJs to add to the party atmosphere.
Andrew Mitchell-Stead, marketing gloucester spokesperson, said: ‘Open air cinema screenings have become really popular in recent years, and Mamma Mia has proved to be the biggest crowd puller for this kind of event.’
So whether you are a seasoned fan of the musical – or are one of the very few not to have seen the box-office sensation yet – don’t miss out on booking tickets to see Mamma Mia on a very unique big screen.
