A Few Best Men at Gloucester Guildhall

Editor's Choice

A Few Best Men is set to have Gloucester Guildhall cinema-goers rolling in the aisles with laughter, when a chaotic stag do, a cross-dressing sheep, and a truly cringe worthy speech all lead to groom-to-be David’s big day.

Those hankering for a comedy along the lines of Meet the Parents and The Hangover, should head to Gloucester Guildhall between Friday 28 September and Tuesday 2 October 2012, when it will be screening the Australian-British flick A Few Best Men in the intimate setting of its in-house cinema.

The star-studded line-up sees _Twilight_’s Xavier Samuel play groom-to-be David, alongside My Family and _Love Actually_’s Kris Marshall as one of his hapless best friends, not to mention _Grease_’s Olivia Newton John as you’ve never seen her before.

David travels to Australia to marry the love of his life, taking his three best friends along with him. Having barely met his bride-to-be, they aren‘t too impressed at the thought of losing their best friend to married life on the other side of the world, but resolve to give him a send-off to remember.

Organisers added: ‘A chaotic stag night ensues, and when the big day finally arrives the trio of ill-prepared best men give a whole new meaning to the phrase ‘for better or worse‘, as a deranged drug dealer, a cross–dressing sheep and a truly disastrous speech threaten to derail the marriage before it‘s even begun!’

Plus, film fans heading to see A Few Best Men on the Monday afternoon can enjoy a slice of cake washed down with a hot drink for an extra £1, taking advantage of its Screen Tea offer.
